About

“How do you feel today?” begins the journey in most physical and mental health apps. Then there are breathing exercises, guided meditation and workouts.

“Select your stress level” begins the journey with Vibey — same, but different. It is not about reinventing the wheel, it is about making the user feel different, it's about providing a new user experience.

What's Vibey?

Problem Statement

The power of music to boost your mood, combined with the need of the user to receive suggestions, instead of having to browse and decide:

Vibey, your personal DJ that provides a curated playlist based on your day’s stress level.

Our user persona Marta needs an easy-to-access app that allows her to practice stress-relief techniques.

SCROLL TO SEE SOLUTION(S)

Problem: The market for apps designed to help reduce stress is confusing and existing apps offer too many options.

Solution: "Vibey" focuses on just one of the many ways to reduce stress levels. One way that became clear in a survey with around 100 responses: Music.

Where to start?

Problem: Our user persona has little time and wants a quick remedy to stop feeling stressed.

Solution: The user can only do one thing: Assess their personal stress level. No further information is required, no registration process and no further questions are asked.

Immediate help

Problem: Based on the results of the survey, most users do not want to have to search or browse. They want to receive suggestions and not have to make decisions.

Solution: As soon as the stress level is selected, the user is treated to curated music and positive vibe visualizations. No decision, no searching and browsing needed!

No decisions needed

Problem: In general, most app developers neglect accessibility. It is important to me to look beyond the boundaries of the user persona and include all people.

Solution: There is the possibility that the app can be used by people regardless of their limitations. The “Accessibility mode” adjusts icons and contrast and deactivates the visualizations.
